I can only use Quicktime but this is not the way I wanna go because of many other reasons. I am running Linux Ubuntu, Windows or Mac is no option, I am and will be a Linux user.To add to Rohit's point, DaVinci Resolve will continue to read non-official MP4 files from your recorder, camera or application. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. The change between Resolve 17 and 18 is cosmetic.

I am on 10.1.5 Lite. I strung together some Quicktime clips from my D800 in a MC 7.0.3 timeline. I transcoded the sequence to DNxHD, then I exported an AAF to Resolve. In Resolve I did the Auto on the clips just to ballpark the exposure and I want to export that for folks to review with a reference (as in ...If yes, uncheck that setting, save preferences and restart Resolve. That should fix it. DVR seems to export stills as "video levels", not full levels. You can chek it reimporting the still to DVR, then right click on clip attributes on the source image on the media pool, and change data levels to "video", then "full".Sep 6, 2023 · Re: A little help for grayed out options.
